Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Your browser's local storage works in a similar way. In this policy we call both of them cookies.

2. How we use cookies

REXO SOFTWARE only uses cookies that it needs to work, and cookies that remember a choice you made. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies or analytics cookies, and we do not share your visits with advertisers.

Because these cookies are needed or only store your own choices, you do not have to accept them. We show a short notice so that you know about them.

3. The cookies we set

Sign-in (names contain “better-auth”): keeps you signed in and, if you use two-step sign-in, remembers for a few minutes that you have entered your password. It is set when you sign in and removed when you sign out. It lasts up to 7 days after your last visit, or until you close your browser if you did not tick “Remember me”. Needed for the service.

Language (lang): remembers the language you chose. It is set only when you choose a language, and it lasts 1 year.

Colour theme (theme): remembers whether you prefer the light, dark or automatic look. It is set only when you choose, and it lasts 1 year.

Cookie notice (cookie_notice): remembers that you closed the cookie notice, so that it is not shown again. It lasts 1 year.

Page settings (atc-background-fx, in local storage): remembers whether the moving background is on. It is stored only when you change this setting, and it stays on your device until you delete it.

Security check: on forms such as sign-in and sign-up we use a security check from Cloudflare (Turnstile) to tell people from automated programs. It may store a small amount of data in your browser for this purpose. It is used only for security.

4. Other companies

When you pay, you are sent to the page of our payment provider (Whop for card payments, Plisio for cryptocurrency). They may set their own cookies there, under their own policies.

A product page may show a video from YouTube. It is loaded only after you press the button to load it. YouTube then receives your IP address and may store cookies or similar data under its own policies.

Our hosting provider Cloudflare may set a security cookie if it needs to protect the website from attacks. We do not use it to track you.

5. Your choices

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the sign-in cookies you cannot sign in. If you delete the language and theme cookies, the website goes back to its default language and look.

If we ever want to use cookies that are not needed, such as analytics or advertising cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your permission first.
